Welcome to Aquarius Lodge.

Choosing a care home can feel like a lot to take in. We care for older people, including people living with mild or moderate dementia, and we start by listening. Tell us about your loved one, the help they need and the everyday things that matter to them.

You are welcome to look round before making any decisions. See the rooms and garden, meet the people who provide the care, and ask the questions that matter to your family.

A garden to sit out in

The garden has a summer house, and there is stairlift access to it. Ask us about the best way for your loved one to use the space.

Meals from our own kitchen

Meals are made in the house. Tell us what your loved one enjoys and what they would rather avoid.

Visitors made welcome

Family and friends can call in whenever suits them. You don’t need to book, and if you let us know you’re coming, we’ll have the kettle on.

The right help for their needs.

Tell us what support is needed. We will talk through the options here and say clearly if a different kind of care would be more suitable.

Ring us to talk it through

There is more about each of these on our care page. See how our care works

A room that feels like theirs.

Familiar things can make a move easier. Ask about bringing a favourite chair, photos or other belongings, and about the room available for your loved one. TV and phone points and WiFi are available.
